Hildebrand Art Gallery is located near the north central area of downtown San Antonio, Texas at 735 W.Hildebrand between Blanco Ave. and San Pedro Ave. The gallery was started in 2001 by Randy Pommerening who has had a lifetime passion for art. Not being an artist himself, he settled for the next best thing, to see others enjoy the art that he has carried in the gallery.
The gallery strives to help the community with special framed art donations that have helped many nonprofit organizations such as the San Antonio Health Science System, the Windcrest Fire Department, the Northside Independent School District Educational Foundation, the North East Independent School District Educational Foundation and the San Antonio State Bar Association, to name just a few.
The main goal of the Hildebrand Art Gallery is to build a passion for the arts in San Antonio! Art showings take place almost every Saturday starting at noon. A variety of new Giclee reproductions, canvas and paper prints, and originals are introduced at these showings. The work of many national well known artists and several local artists are shown in a down home relaxed atmosphere. So come as you are and enjoy the show!
